Visit to ISRO

Team of faculty members headed by Dr M Ravindra, Professor from the dept. of ECE, RNS Institute of Technology visited ISRO center, Bangalore and this is as part of Industry institute interaction. Other team members Dr Suresh. D and Dr Sangitha B G accompanied were also from the same department. Team had interaction with few senior scientists of ISRO and explored the possibilities of joining research work of the ISRO.

Latex Workshop

Department of ECE, RNSIT has organized a workshop on Latex on 12-04-2019 for the benefit of faculty members of various departments of the institution. Dr Rajini and Mr Sanjay were the speakers. Workshop is concluded by rendering the vote of thanks by Dr. Vipula Singh, Professor and Head, Dept. of ECE.

STEP Program

New activity has been initiated in the month of February 2019 by the  Dept. of  ECE, under the banner of Center of Excellence in Signal Processing. This weekend course started for the benefit of students by the Experts from Industry.

Visit to ISRO on 19/09/2018

5th ECE students visited to ISTRAC center of ISRO. Students were taken into MOX-2[Mission Operation Complex]. MOX is the state of the art spacecraft control center. It consists of Mission Control Room (MCR) , a Mission Analysis Room (MAR) and Dedicated Mission Control Room (DMCRs) to support 24*7 spacecraft operations

Inauguration of Center of Excellence

      Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, RNS Institute of Technology, Bengaluru initiated the Center of Excellence in Signal Processing in the month of May. Mr. Harikrishna Rai, System Architect, Philips Medical Systems inaugurated CoE in Signal Processing  on 04/05/2018 and delivered a keynote address on 'Image and Video Analytics'.
